NESA_Scholarships

NESA Scholarship Applications have gone live! Starting this year, NESA scholarships will be payable to trade schools. Mike Rowe will be proud! NESA still does not pay to U.S. military academies. You must be a NESA member to win a scholarship, but you can apply for a scholarship before you apply for a NESA membership. This year, the deadline for applications is Thursday, December 31, 2015. Scouts who pass their board of review after October 31, 2015 should apply during the next scholarship window between Aug. 1, 2016 - Oct. 31, 2016. Recipients of scholarships will be contacted by mail by July 15, 2016. A full list of recipients will be posted on NESA.org on Aug. 1, 2016. Additionally, you can fill out an application ahead of time if you haven't passed your board yet, but plan to pass it by Saturday, October 31. You are able to apply for academic scholarships every year up until your senior year in college and merit scholarships every year up until your junior year in college. Eagle Scouts interested in the STEM scholarship must apply for the STEM scholarship during their senior year in high school.
