Summer Camp Payment

The 1st $50.00 non refundable deposit for summer camp for 2016 is due February 24h and the final payment is due April 27th.  The cost for summer camp is $300.00 per youth The troop is going the week of July17th - 23rd.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing

On Saturday December 12th the troop and the 2nd Year Webelos will volunteer and ring the bell for the Salvation Army Kettle fundraiser.  Each scout and webelos will have to work one hour at the grocery side or gm side.  Please sign up by contacting me with the time and side you want.  It is on a first come basis.

Troop Builds Duck Boxes

 At the troop meeting the Scouts will build duck boxes to be placed in the winter at a local marsh.  We will also buuld blue bird houses. Attach is the plans for duck boxes and blue bird huses.  We need to purchase rugh cut lumber.

Troop Christmas Party

On Wednesday, December 16th the troop will have its annual Christmas party at our meeting hall Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church Hall starting at 6:30pm.   The scouts can participate in the grab bag (bring a gift get a gift).  We like to see the gifts not exceed $8.00.  Remember, this party we invite the 2nd Webelos and parents who are joining the troop. 

2016: National Youth Leadership Training

After a very successful run last year, the NYLT staff will be at it again this coming spring with a two-weekend course

NYLT is a two weekend outdoor experience for current and future troop and crew leaders utilizing the patrol (team) method. It presents leadership skills in multiple formats providing the opportunity for participants to live and practice these leadership skills. Virtually all of the training is conducted by the youth staff. This course follows the BSA National Youth Leadership Training Curriculum.
